Introduction to Analysis
This is a performance analysis of many products available in the U.S. and/or Canada for applying to drains and septic systems.
The material used in this test was chosen because its balance of protein, carbohydrates, fat and cellulose (fiber) is similar to waste that would be found in drains and septic systems. One gram of this material was placed in 100 ml. of water and one gram of the biological product added in each test. After 12 hours, the amount of material digested, with each product, was measured. This is shown, in percentages, by the accompany graphs (See Ranking Score).
Products containing a combination of biological ingredients and chemicals, e.g. Septabs, were not tested, because apples-to-apples comparisons are not possible. Likewise, totally chemical products were excluded.
Important Note: These tests were NOT performed by (Bio-Clean) our personnel but by an independent third-party laboratory.
